Joining is free and open to everyone. There is no application.

Who can join

Anyone who wants to learn, from any country and any background. TODO(owner): minimum age, or a policy for students under 18

What you need:

  • an internet connection,
  • an email address,
  • and time to study.

Step by step

  1. Choose a course

Browse the catalogue and read the course page. It lists what the course covers, its prerequisites, the expected effort and how it is assessed.

  2. Create a Moodle account

Our courses are taught on Moodle, a widely used open-source learning platform. Sign up at moodle.wosm.academy. Use an email address you check regularly.

  3. Confirm your email

Moodle sends a confirmation link to the address you gave. Open it to activate your account. If the message does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

  4. Enrol on the course

Log in, open the course page on Moodle and select Enrol me. Each course page on this website links to its Moodle course once enrolment is open.

  5. Join the Discord

Meet other students, ask questions and study together on our Discord server. TODO(owner): Discord invite link
